INSURANCE COVERAGE

Many patients are delighted to learn that they have insurance coverage for many of the services we offer. We are “in-network” providers with Premera/Blue Cross & Blue Shield, are set up to work with the Veteran’s Administration and happily bill all other insurance companies. Unfortunately at this time Medicare and Medicaid do not offer any acupuncture coverage. Acupuncture & Wellness of Cordova bills all insurance companies in a timely manner, often having your claims submitted within a couple days of your visit.

Since Cordova is a small town we are familiar with the insurance policies of many of the employers in town. Please see below to get a general idea of what coverage your current plan offers you. This is not a guarantee of benefits, once you schedule for your initial visit, and submit your insurance information we’ll supply you with your exact benefit details, or fill out the form below and we’ll get back to you promptly.

If you don’t have insurance coverage, we are able to extend a 20% discount for charges paid at the time of service.

CEC

IBEW Workers: Acupuncture for pain management is subject to $600 deductible, covered at 80% or higher, no annual visit limit

CEC Staff: Acupuncture is subject to a $6000 deductible, visits are covered at 100% after deductible is reached. This is a shared benefit with Physical Therapy, Massage Therapy and Occupational Therapy. After 25 visits preauthorization must be obtained.

GGU: Acupuncture is subject to a $300 deductible, visits are covered at 80%, 20 visits are covered per plan year (July 1-June 30)
